Mammootty’s next release after Abrahaminte Santhathikal, which will release on June 16, is the comedy flick Oru Kuttanadan Blog. The team is currently shooting the film’s last schedule, after which it will hit screens on August 24. Touted to be a comedy, the film is based on a village Kuttanad and the characters that live there.

Sethu of the Sachi–Sethu duo will make his direction debut with the film which has two heroines – Raai Laxmi and Anu Sithara. Like the title suggests, Mammootty plays the role of a middle-aged man, who is a blogger and a role model to all the youth in the village.
The comedy entertainer also features Siddique, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Nedumudi Venu, Adil Ibrahim and Jude Anthany Joseph.
Meanwhile, Abrahaminte Santhathikal is an action thriller which has Mammootty playing an IPS officer. The film also stars Anson Paul, Kaniha and Kalabhavan Shajohn, Narain and Renji Panicker in pivotal roles.
