The cops discovered that the phone used by Suni in jail was stolen, and belonged to someone in Coimbatore. “The phone was within the location of a tower near the Kakkanad district prison since April.  It was recovered by the cops from the residence of Anil aka Masthiri Sunil, a native of Kottayam, who shared the cell of Pulsar during his incarceration in Kakkanad jail,” the report said.

Meanwhile, Pulsar Suni has said that he is being subjected to ‘immense torture’ by the police.

B A Aloor, the counsel for the accused, is said to have filed a petition before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court in Kakkanad seeking cancellation of custody, or allowance to visit him everyday.
