Malayalam Actor Sreenivasan Blames ‘Bad’ Mothers For Recent Events In The Industry

Malayalam actor Sreenivasan has attributed recent events in Malayalam industry (including the abduction and assault of an actress) to ‘bad’ mothers.

“The society will have good children, if the mothers are good. If the mothers lack sense and knowledge, the children may go the wrong way,” he said.

Curiously enough, Sreenivasan has said that the Malayalam film industry does not have casting couch.

“I have never given others a chance to exploit me. You need not give others a chance to exploit you always. We should know what kind of exploitation is taking place. I cannot create an incident to say that women have been exploited in Malayalam film industry,” he said.

He also condemned Innocent for his recent remarks. “The protests in front of his residence and office after the statement proved that the public were against his view,” he added.

Sreenivasan then said that AMMA (Association Of Malayalam Movie Artistes) has not done much good to the industry, except providing financial assistance to needy artists.
