Cinematographer Jomon T John will debut as a director with Kairali.
Indian Express reports that Jomon will direct Nivin Pauly in a film based on the disappearance of Kerala’s first ship MV Kairali. Nivin Pauly announced the news on his Facebook page:
The film will be produced by Pauly, under the Pauly Jr Pictures banner, along with Real Life works. Sidhartha Siva is writing the script, and shooting will begin December.
Jomon is currently shooting Golmaal 4, after walking out of Dhruva Natchathiram. Nivin is currently wrapping up his first exclusively Tamil film Richie, and will begin work on Hey Jude.
