Jude Anthany Joseph, the director behind films such as Oru Muthassi Gadha and Om Shanthi Oshana, has been cast as the male lead in an upcoming film. Titled Aiswarya Vilasam Gunda Sangham, the film will be directed by 100 Degree Celsius fame Rakesh Gopan, and has Aju Verghese in a major role.
Jude wrote of his acting debut on his Facebook account:
“My wish to become a film actor has come true and going on and forward in a very unexpected moment. The movie Aiswarya Vilasam Gunda Sangham starring my dear friend Aju Varghese and I would go on floors next year. The film is an out-and-out comedy. It’s a story of two dunderhead youths. I couldn’t contain my laughter after hearing the story. It was like ‘oh! I couldn’t direct it.”
Jude Anthany Joseph has earlier appeared in a small role in Alphonse Puthren’s Premam. He played Dolly, a dance choreographer in the romantic film.
