Director Jeethu Joseph’s wife Linta Jeethu has reportedly become a screenwriter for a new film. Linta Jeethu, a former costume designer, had been working on a script for a while now.
“She has been working on a screenplay for sometime. It is almost complete. But I don’t know when that film would reach the shooting floor,” Jeethu said. The filmmaker insisted that the story written by his wife was narrated to some producers. However, upon given suggestions to tweak the climax, Jeethu decided to keep Linta’s story as is, admitting he liked it better that way. Jeethu will direct as well as produce Linta’s story. “I am planning to fund her film. And she has agreed to me wearing the director’s hat,” he said.

Linta Jeethu began working as a costume designer with Jeethu’s his successful hit My Boss (2012) starring Dileep. She went to design costumes for his other films including Memories (2013), Drishyam (2015), and in this year’s Oozham starring Prithviraj.
Meanwhile, the filmmaker currently has a project with Mammootty in the pipeline. In a recent interview, Jeethu confirmed his project with Mamootty, stating that film will be an urban thriller and will feature Mamootty in a completely different role.
