  • Actor Vijay’s highly anticipated film Mersal‘s audio launch took place in Chennai last evening. The grand launch had AR Rahman performing and was attended by several stars from Kollywood.

Speaking at the event, Vijay said, “Mersal is very special for me. I admire Atlee’s confidence and his ability to execute things. I’ve given hits, flops and blockbusters but what I’ve truly earned is my fans and your love,” he said. He further had an advice for his fans:

“People keep asking me what they should do with negativity around them. Just ignore.”

Comedian and filmmaker Jerry Lewis died on Sunday morning at his home in Las Vegas. He was 91.

Known for his slapstick humour, he partnered with Dean Martin and the duo became popularly known a Martin and Lewis. Funny Bones and The Nutty Professor are just few of the popular films he had starred in.

He is currently survived by his wife SanDee Pitnick, six sons, and one daughter.
