Race 3

The third installment of the series, Race 3 is an action-packed entertainer, which narrates the story of a landowner, who is targeted by a group of gangsters. Going by the trailer, apart from Salman Khan, who is seen shooting every few seconds, Anil Kapoor (who has featured in all the films of the franchise) also seems to play a pivotal role in the movie. The female leads Daisy Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez are also seen performing high octane stunts in the film, which marks the comeback of Bobby Deol as the antagonist to Salman’s Sikander. Saqib Saleem is also a part of the entourage.

Goli Soda 2

A sequel to the 2014 film of the same name, Goli Soda 2 traces the lives of three young men who want to make it big. The film follows their trials and tribulations. Slated to be an action drama, Goli Soda 2 is directed by Vijay Milton. The film stars Chemban Vinod Jose, Rohini, Subiksha, Krisha Kurup, Rakshita Babu , Bharath Seeni, Vinoth and Essaki Bharath in the lead. Gautham Menon plays a cameo in the film. Vijay Milton has even hinted at a Goli Soda 1.5 in the future.

Malayalam

My Story

Featuring Prithviraj (Jai) and Parvathy (Tara) in lead roles, My Story is a romantic comedy directed and produced by Roshni Dinaker. Shot in European locales, the film has Prithviraj appearing in two different get-ups, depicting the two different stages of Jay and Tara’s lives. Going by the trailer, it looks like Prithviraj plays a film enthusiast in the movie. Apart from Prithviraj and Parvathy, Manoj K Jayan, Roger Narayan and Manianpillai Raju are in supporting roles.

Abrahaminte Santhathikal

Abrahaminte Santhathikal is a Malayalam movie starring Mammootty in the lead role. It is a revenge thriller directed by Shaji Padoor. The basic plot of the film revolves around a killer who hunts down his targets and kills them one by one. However, when the police investigates the crime seen, the killer is nowhere in sight. Produced by TL George, the film also stars Anson Paul and Kaniha in pivotal roles.

Njan Marykutty

Directed by Ranjith Sankar, Njan Marykutty tells the tale of a transsexual. The movie marks the fifth collaboration between Jayasurya and Ranjith. The trailer has Marykutty (Jayasurya) dressed in a sari. But no, it’s not the Mrs Doubtfire kind of a film. The story revolves around a woman (Marykutty) trapped inside a man’s body. The trailer also shows a few shots of running shoes and a weighing scale confirming the fact that Jayasurya’s character harbours athletic dreams. Ranjith Shankar has teamed up with Jayasurya previously in four other films – Punyalan Agarbattis, Su… Su… Sudhi Vathmeekam, Pretham, and Punyalan Private Limited.

Telugu

Naa Nuvve

Naa Nuvve is a love story between a radio jockey, Meera (Tamannaah Bhatia) and a software engineer Varun (Kalyanram). However, the twist in the tale is that here the heroine is seen pursuing the hero, who is evidently reluctant to make any commitment. The subtle and real performances of Tamannaah and Kayanram is what makes this love story fresh. Vennila Kishore, Tanikella Bharani and Surekha Vani are seen in supporting roles. Music has been composed by Sharreth.
