A musical parody of the classic ’90s American sitcom, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, is all set to open in New York this fall.
The musical has been titled Friends! The Musical! and is an unofficial production by the makers of other parodies like 90210! The Musical!, Katdashians! The Musical! and Full House! The Musical! As per a report, the show will be hosted at The Triad Theatre in New York.
The dates are yet to be finalised and the musical has been scripted by Bob and Tobly McSmith. The show would include some songs modelled on signature F.R.I.E.N.D.S phrases like, “We Were On A Break” and “5 Grove Street – How Can We Afford This Place”.
