Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Terry Crews has admitted to being molested by a top Hollywood honcho at a party last year. Inspired by the women who have been opening about the abuse they faced from top producer Harvey Weinstein, Crews took to Twitter to talk about his own experience and how he couldn’t seek help.
Crews, best known for playing NYPD Sergeant Terry Jeffords in the sitcom, said that he was inappropriately grabbed by a ‘high-level Hollywood executive’ in front of his wife. Fearing backlash if he complained, he chose to stay silent on the matter.
Throughout the thread, Crews doesn’t name the person who molested him. But he does hope that him coming out with his abuse would inspire other people to open up.
