The fourth installment in The Avengers franchise has gone on floors. The Russo brothers, who are at the helm of this project, posted an image on their official social media account, signalling the launch of their film.
The title of the film has not been revealed yet, as it is a spoiler. Actors Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johannsson have all confirmed that they’d return for the project.
Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige told Collider in April that 2018’s Infinity War is the culmination of 10 years of storytelling, and that what comes next may be something different.
“Certainly as we get to Infinity War, there is a sense of a climax, if not a conclusion to, by the time we’re at untitled Avengers 4, the 22 movies that will have encompassed the first three phases of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). And what happens after that will be very different. I don’t know if it’s Phase 4, it might be a new thing.”
This project is scheduled to release on May 3, 2019. Avengers: Infinity Wars, on the other hand, will hit the theatres on May 4, 2018.
