Black Panther Trailer Out: Marvel’s Latest Superhero Film Promises Breathtaking Visuals

RedditWhatsapp

Black Panther is not just Marvel’s first film to feature a predominantly Black cast. From the looks of its latest trailer, it also promises to be the most visually exciting superhero film to come from the studio. From what actor Lupita Nyongo’o (Nakia) tells Chadwick Boseman (T’Challa) in the film (“You get to decide what kind of king you are going to be.”) the plot-line is sure to focus on T’Challa’s struggles to step into the shoes of his father — as both Black Panther and the King of Wakanda.

The on-screen representation of an African nation as a highly developed and scientifically advanced nation is a win on all counts. As is the inclusion of major names such as Michael B Jordan, Angela Bassett and Danai Gurira. The pulsating soundtrack beautifully complements the thrilling events on-screen, as director Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station, Creed) takes us along on a beautifully choreographed trailer that reminds one of the director’s action shots in Creed.

Black Panther releases on February 16, 2018.
