Priyanka Chopra, fresh off Baywatch, and pausing briefly to outrage some Indians, is in talks for two more Hollywood films. Priyanka is currently on a break from shooting Quantico will likely star in indie film A Kid Like Jake, as well as Isn’t It Romantic.
A Kid Like Jake will feature Priyanka along with Jim Parsons and Claire Danes, and according to a story in News18, will tell the story of a young kid who is gender-non-conforming. The parents of the child realise this while trying to admit the child to school, and fearing abuse, decide to homeschool Jake. While no details regarding Priyanka’s role in the film is revealed, we do know that it will be directed by Silas Howard, who directed the series Transparent.

Priyanka will also be seen in rom-com titled Isn’t It Romantic. Starring Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth and others, the film is about a woman who rejects romance in her life, only to be trapped in a romantic comedy.
Priyanka had earlier launched her production house, Purple Pebble, at Cannes 2017, and pitched three Indian regional-language films for international distribution and finance.
