It was confirmed a few days back that Shah Rukh Khan has signed the Rakesh Sharma biopic titled Salute. The film was earlier offered to Aamir Khan, but due to unknown issues, Aamir walked away from the project.
According to a report in DNA, SRK will wrap up Zero by April end, after which he will be busy for the next three months prepping up for his character in Salute. He will be doing his own research with his team and studying the nuances required to play the former Indian Air Force pilot. He has taken a three-month break, to fully immerse himself in the role.
The actor will shoot for the film from September to November, take a break for the promotions of Zero and then resume Salute early January 2019. He is also in talks for the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Vikram Vedha.
