After the success of the Munnabhai franchise, Sanjay Dutt will be seen in another comedy titled Blockbuster.
The film is being directed by the duo, Ajay and Lovel Arora, who will be making their debut.
In a recent statement, the actor says, “I have always loved doing comedy. It is the genre that makes me feel at home. The scale of Blockbuster is huge and multi-starrers always connect well with audiences. I am really excited about working with Sandeep again.”

To which the director duo have added, “This is a huge opportunity for us. All the directors from Rajkumar Hirani to David Dhawan who have debuted with Sanjay have had fabulous success. We are very excited and even more so because it’s Sanjay that we would be directing for our debut.”
Sandeep Singh who had previously bankrolled for the Sanjay Dutt-starrer Bhoomi, released last year is also producing this comedy-entertainer.
The film will be shot almost entirely in Mauritius, is written by Sajid Farhad, who scripted the comedy movies Golmal, Housefull 2 and Dhamaal Returns. Blockbuster will have an ensemble cast. The film goes on the floors in April.
