Days after Salman Khan received death threats from a Rajasthan-based gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, the shoot for Race 3 was cancelled in Mumbai due to security concerns.
The actor’s father, Salim Khan has confirmed that Salman has been facing death threats. Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Salim Khan said that this wasn’t the first time his son was getting death threats.

“While I don’t know the exact details about when he left the sets, I do know that there were some threats. But Salman has a good team of security personnel. This is not the first time that he is getting such threats. In this industry, people keep getting such threats a lot,” he said, adding that Salman will continue with his shooting assignments.
The gangster, Lawrence Bishnoi, had reportedly said that he would kill the actor in Jodhpur for the hearing of the infamous blackbuck poaching case.
