Salman Khan recently hinted that he might remake Mohanlal’s Malayalam film Pulimurugan. Speaking at a promotional event for his film Tubelight in Dubai, Salman spoke about the Malayalam remakes he has done in the past.
“I have acted in two Malayalam remakes – Bodyguard (2011) and Kyon Ki (2005). Now I am going to watch Pulimurugan,” he said, adding that he would track Siddique, Bodyguard‘s director, after watching the film.
The actor is currently working on Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel to his 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger alongside Katrina Kaif. He will also be working on a project with Akshay Kumar.
His film Tubelight, also starring Chinese actor Zhu Zhu, is slated to release on June 23. This film will also have a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan and is based on the Indo-Sino war. Director Kabir Khan recently confessed that this film was also inspired by the American film Little Boy.
