Rohit Shetty, at a press meet for his upcoming film Golmaal 4, revealed how the younger crop of actors function these days. Addressing the rumours of how there will not be a Ram-Lakhan remake, Shetty sheds light on the kind of work culture the new actors bring in. He said:
“The Ram Lakhan remake is not happening. Two stars don’t want to work together, they just want to promote each other’s films. This young lot, they will tweet for each other, but they will not work with each other.
The director had announced a remake of the cult 1989 film two years ago. Reportedly, actors such as Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor were linked to the remake.
Currently, Shetty’s Golmaal Again starring Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, and Kunal Khemu is scheduled to release in October.
