Actresses Priya Anand and Vishakha Singh will be a part of Fukrey 2, a sequel to the coming-of-age comedy film which was released in 2013. The duo were also a part of the first film, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. The film also featured Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma and Richa Chadda among others.

Reportedly, the shooting of the sequel will begin in January in Delhi. Fukrey narrated the story of a group of youngsters in Delhi who come together to make easy money. The film was a sleeper hit in 2013.

Vishakha Singh, who is also known as a women’s rights activist, recently worked in a video, directed by Deepa Ramanujam, in association with social awareness platform Thappad, about the struggles in the life of athlete Shanthi.
