Veere Di Wedding, which was earlier released this month, was in news for reasons more than just one. However, this time around the film is back in news for a good reason.
After scoring well at the box office, reports reveal that the makers are planning a sequel to the film and production for the same is expected to begin next year.
Like the prequel, the sequel will also feature the four leading ladies- Khareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.

A source close to the team says: “All the women involved with the film, from the producers Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor to the leading ladies, want to know what happens to the four protagonists after the film ends. So yes, a sequel is definitely on the cards.”
However, the team also reveals that coordinating the availability of all the four actresses might be tricky as the actresses are busy with their ongoing projects and that they will have to wait until next year before making any official confirmation.
