The CBFC has struck again, and this time, the board wants the words ‘Dalit’ and ‘sex toy’ to be removed from the movie Noor.

According to the board members, all references to the community should be removed as they allude to the caste system. A report states that the word “Dalit” has been muted throughout the movie.
References to a liquor brand, and the word ‘sex toy’ also come under the objectionable list of CBFC. The board, the report says, wants the word ‘sex toy’ to be replaced by ‘adult site’.
Noor stars Sonakshi Sinha in the titular role and will also see Purab Kohli, Kanan Gill and Shibani Dandekar in pivotal roles. The film will hit screens on April 21.
