Bipasha Basu is in talks to make her Kannada film debut. The actress has been approached for a small role in Shivrajkumar’s Leader.

The film’s director Narasimha told Silverscreen, “Yes, we’re trying to get Bipasha Basu for a small role. There’s also a song we want to shoot with her. But, at this stage nothing is confirmed yet.”
Bipasha was approached to do a supporting role in Mamu Tea Angadi (2013). The actress rejected the offer, as she felt the role and the screen time it offered was not substantial.
Basu was last seen onscreen in Alone. The film was a remake of Chaarulathaa, itself a remake of Thai film Alone.
