A sequel to Fukrey has been announced. The film’s first look poster was unveiled on social media on August 7.

A teaser for the film will be unveiled on August 9, according to its producer, Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment. Released in 2013, the film followed four young men on a quest to make some easy money. It had Pulkit Samrat, Priya Anand, Richa Chadda, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh, Varun Sharma and Vishakha Singh in the lead roles.

The promotional poster for the sequel makes it clear that actors Pulkit, Richa, Ali Fazal and Varun Sharma are part of the sequel. It is yet to be known if Priya Anand and Vishakha will return as well.
Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, director of the original, is at the helm of this project and is also credited for additional dialogues and the screenplay. Andre Menezes is the cinematographer, Vipul Vig takes care of the screenplay and dialogue, while Sameer Uddin is in charge of the film’s music.
