In the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment case, more women open up about the abuse they had faced. Model and actress Cara Delevingne and actor Lea Seydoux have joined the long list of women who have accused Weinstein of sexual harassment. In a lengthy Instagram post, Delevingne has said that Weinstein brought up sexual subjects during more than one business meeting and also tried to get Delevingne to kiss a woman in front of him.

Actor Lea Seydoux wrote an essay in Guardian writing how she was the recipient of unwanted advances from Weinstein.

“He invited me to come to his hotel room for a drink. We went up together. It was hard to say no because he’s so powerful. All the girls are scared of him. Soon, his assistant left and it was just the two of us. That’s the moment where he started losing control… We were talking on the sofa when he suddenly jumped on me and tried to kiss me. I had to defend myself. He’s big and fat, so I had to be forceful to resist him. I left his room, thoroughly disgusted. I wasn’t afraid of him, though. Because I knew what kind of man he was all along,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck, who condemned Weinstein’s behaviour, is facing scrutiny himself after an old video of him groping a TV show host surfaced. The incident took place when Hilary Burton, who recurs on Fox’s Lethal Weapon, was a co-host on MTV’s Total Request Live, a daily music video countdown that ran for ten years until 2008 and was recently revived by the network.

Affleck has since apologised for the same. “I acted inappropriately toward Ms. Burton and I sincerely apologize,” he tweeted.
