A look at this week’s releases:

Speaking to Silverscreen about his role, Vadivelu said: “I have a substantial role in Mersal and not just a comedy track. It’s more of a supporting role. Like Kaavalan and Pokkiri, my scenes with Vijay have come out really well. I’m looking forward to the reaction of the audience.”

The film also had a grand audio launch last month, star-studded and with Rahman performing songs from the film.

Secret Superstar (Hindi)

At the screening of Dangal, we caught a glimpse of the ‘secret superstar’: the teaser of the movie was screened during the interval without revealing the face. But having just watched her on screen, doe-eyed yet feisty, it wasn’t difficult to place Zaira Wasim even with a burqa on.
