Kalaiarasan, who played the loyal friend ‘Anbu’ in Madras, will be acting in a suspense thriller titled Eidhavan, directed by debutante director Shakthi, who was an associate director for Madha Yaanai Kootam. Eidhavan, which means ‘A Man Who Aims,’ will be produced by Sudhakar of Friends Film Festival.
Kalaiyarasan, who was last seen in a cameo appearance in Darling, is awaiting the release of several films, including Urumeen, a fantasy-thriller co-starring Bobby Simha, Jinn, Raja Mandhiri, and Kaala Koothu co-starring Prasanna. He is also on the cast of director Ranjith’s upcoming film, which features Rajinikanth. The film has been delayed, and will begin shooting in the last week of August.
