Samuthirakani is known for memorable roles in films like Subramaniapuram, Easan, and recently, Velaiyilla Pattadhaari. While he has been donning negative or supporting roles so far, his upcoming movie Adhibar, will see him showcase his comedic talents. Along with actors Thambi Ramaiah and Singampuli, Samuthirakani will play a comic role as a bank robber.
While the actor/director works on his next directorial project Kitna, he is clearly making time for acting assignments as well. Last seen as an evil politician in Massu Engira Maasliamani, Samuthirakani will also play the role of an unconventional villian in Sivakarthikeyan’s Rajini Murugan. Fans are keen to see how Samuthirakani handles such a contrasting role.
Adhibar is directed by Surya Prakash, with Jeevan and debutante Vidhya in lead roles.
