Actress Remya Nambeesan has lent her voice to a peppy number for actor Prashanth’s Saahasam. The song was penned by lyricist Madhan Karky and was composed by music director S Thaman. Remya, who is a trained singer, had earlier rendered popular numbers like Fy Fy Fy Kaalichify for Pandianadu and Pogathe Pogathe for Damaal Dumeel. Actor and director Thiagarajan, who is producing Saahasam said, “I think every pub in the city will play this song. It is trendy and Madhan Karky’s lyrics are refreshing. The youth can relate to it quite well. And Remya’s voice has lifted the song.”

Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri has agreed to render an electrifying performance for the song along with actor Prashanth. Thiagarajan further added that they are still trying to zero in on the male voice for the track and the filming of the song will be completed in 10 days.
Saahasam is directed by debutant Arun Raj Varma while Sakthi Saravanan wields the camera. Actors Nasser, Thulasi, Thambi Ramaiah, Devadarshini, MS Bhaskar and John Vijay will be seen in supporting roles.
