Akhila Kishore has been roped in for Kadhai Irukku, said to be a sequel to the sleeper hit KTVI. The actress, who was the female lead in the Parthiban directorial, said that she was ‘signed on for an important role as soon as KTVI’s filming got over’. “I heard that Parthiban sir is hard at work on the script and I can’t wait to see what he has come up with this time around. My Tamil is also getting better; so I think this is going to be a completely new experience in some ways.”
Kadhai Irukku – previously called Upma Company – is said to star Santhosh Prathap, Vijayram and Thambi Ramaiah. The film is likely to take off in early 2015 and will feature Parthiban in an important role.
