Despite claims to the contrary, actor Mohan is not a part of Suriya’s Poochandi. The director of the film, Venkat Prabhu, has stated that the veteran Mouna Raagam actor was not approached for any role in the film. Starring Suriya and Nayanthara, Poochandi is a supernatural comedy and was launched on April 14 this year. Studio Green’s KE Gnanavelraja is producing this movie while Yuvan Shankar Raja scores music. Actress Amy Jackson has also been linked to the project, but there has been no official announcement yet. Cinematographer RD Rajasekhar cranks the camera for this film and it is said that the movie will go on floors after Suriya wraps up shoot for Anjaan.
